The care and consideration given to my mother was second to none
The care and consideration given to my mother for the last few months of her life was second to none. She had a severe vascular condition which needed a lot of attention, especially in the last month, but her needs were always met with a smile and such kindness.
She was kept immaculately clean, as was her room, which was very homely and welcoming. Prospect House was always a happy place to visit at any time of day, with a cheerful, positive staff and warm atmosphere where nothing was too much trouble.
I cannot praise them highly enough and always feel, as I leave that she was in good hands. Unfortunately, my mother was unable to take part in any of the activities, but there seemed to be quite a few things happening on a regular basis.

She said she felt like a VIP
Mum spent 3 1/2 months in respite at Prospect House earlier this year. She soon settled in and enjoyed the morning activities.
She had nothing but praise for the staff and the matron, enjoyed the food- she said she felt like a VIP. It was a sad day indeed for mum and myself when she had to leave.

We welcome visitors and your feedback. Other care facilities may require visitors to make appointments before they can visit, or they may have strict visitation hours. At Prospect House you are welcome to call in anytime.
