Home Manager

Sarah Stroud

Home Manager, Sarah Stroud, joined Prospect House nursing and care home in March 2020, just as the home closed to visitors due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Despite arriving in the midst of the rapid changes that coronavirus necessitated, Sarah steered Prospect House very successfully through those difficult months and we are delighted to have her on board leading our team so effectively.

Sarah, who is a Registered General Nurse, and who joined us from a North West based care home group, brings with her over 17 years’ of proven experience in care home senior management. She is a dedicated professional and a committed and passionate nurse whose aim is to provide the very best, person-centred care for residents through innovative care, continually promoting and improving service quality.

Deputy Manager

Megan Owen

Deputy Manager Megan Owen, a Registered Mental Health Nurse, joined the Prospect House management team towards the end of last year.

Megan is a conscientious professional with over 15 years’ experience working within nursing home environments, 13 years of which were in managerial positions.


She is a self-motivated, dynamic clinician who strives to achieve the highest standards of individualised care and is committed to the delivery of exceptional services for our residents.

Clinical Services Manager

Tracy Lumb

Tracy joined our team in 2019 as Clinical Service Manager further strengthening the management team.

Having obtained her Adult Nursing degree from Chester University, Tracy gained extensive nursing experience working in a variety of settings before joining us.

She brings with her a keen quality and compliance focus together with a passion for delivering the highest standards of person-centred care for our residents.

Clinical Nurse Manager

Karen Leslie

Karen is a Registered General Nurse with over 20 years’ experience working in the home.


In her role as Clinical Nurse Manager she leads liaison with our visiting GP service and manages the safe handling of pharmacy/medications.

Office Manager

Eve Jones

Eve manages our busy administration office team and has a lead support role in staff rostering ensuring there is always a well-resourced and skilled care team on duty to care for our residents.

Registered Nurse

Paula Powell

Paula is an experienced Registered General Nurse with special interest in tissue viability; Paula sets the highest of standards and is focussed on providing the best possible care for our residents.

Senior Care Assistant

Iwona Lis

Iwona started her career as a Healthcare Assistant and has progressed to Senior Care Assistant with responsibility for managing our care team on shift and mentoring new staff members, ensuring the delivery of high quality care.

Senior Care Assistant

Wendy Williams

Wendy started work in the home in 2005 as a Healthcare Assistant and progressed to Senior Care Assistant with lead responsibility for infection control and for leading the care team to ensure the individual needs of each resident are met to the highest standard.

Healthcare Assistant

Katie Rogers

Katie is member of our care team who has over 10 years’ experience within the home and she provides compassionate, person-centred care to all of our residents.

Activities Co-ordinator

Wendy Lunt

Wendy has 15 years’ experience at Prospect House and, as Activities Co-ordinator, is responsible for organising and delivering activities, working closely with residents to ensure a wide range of interesting and stimulating activities is available every week.

Head Chef

Paul Wright

Paul is a member of National Association of Care Catering and has Michelin Star restaurant experience and, as Head Chef, is passionate about delivering a fine dining experience for all of our residents.

Head Housekeeper

Lorna Williams

Lorna started in 2011 as a Domestic Assistant, progressing to Head Housekeeper and manages a team of six domestic staff, ensuring all of our residents’ housekeeping needs are met.

Maintenance Manager

Paul Barrett

Paul has completed 17 years’ service having started in 2002 as a Maintenance Assistant, progressing to Maintenance Manager where he is responsible for ensuring the ongoing safety and comfort of the home for our residents.
